Activities

Parks, Golf, Fishing, and Hunting

Enjoy wildlife viewing and photography as you drive the three-mile, graveled auto tour through wetlands. Walk a one-mile trail along a lush riparian slough. Relax and enjoy the scenery on the viewing platform. The refuge is open year-round from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset.

This area offers visitors campsites, picnic sites, and a launch ramp for small boats. The River Patwin Indian tribe once lived nearby the area and in 1872 John Muir camped near what is now the park.

This 9-hole course features 3,322 yards of golf. The course opened in 1949. Ric Burgess, PGA manages the course as the General Manager and Golf Professional.
